The response given by the young European students to the campaign FOOD4U encourages us to continue with a project that this year has been a success beyond our wildest dreams.This was the comment of the Minister of agricultural food and forestry policies Luca Zaia at the Auditorium della Conciliazione of Rome, after having presented to the Portuguese students of the Oficina Escola Profissional do Instituto Nun’Alvres of Santo Tirso the first prize of the fifth edition of FOOD 4U, the prestigious FOOD 4U AWARD 2009 - Trophy of the President of the Italian Republic.

This project aims at protecting and safeguarding our productive identities, one of the strongest parts of the Italian agrifood system. With these words the Minister Luca Zaia announces the presentation of the "Plan for the logo registration of the Dop and Igp products and for their legal protection in the international realm" , that will be held the 23rd September at 10,30 in the Mipaaf.
