On the issue of the healthiness of the raw milk directly distributed by the farms, the Minister and the health under-secretary, Francesca Martini, share the conviction that the recent events do not undermine the heath of the citizens and the seriousness of the Italian farms.

The minister of agricultural policies, Luca Zaia, on the issue of the healthiness of the raw milk directly distributed by the farms, has had the 5 December a long conversation with the health under-secretary, Francesca Martini.

Zaia and Martini share the conviction that the recent events do not undermine the heath of the citizens and the seriousness of the Italian farms.

"We can affirm, the Minister said, that this new way of distributing milk has made the consumers get closer to agriculture after decades of excessive consumerism". "However, Zaia continued, we must underline, as we have often done, that milk should be treated like all raw foods, so we must remember to do what our grandmothers used to do: boil the milk before using it. Also the containers must be boiled before using them”.

The meeting that Martini and I will have the 10 December will help spread this message and to stress the validity of this new way of selling this good national product”.
